John Hebson

General Manager

Originally from Southern California, he attended the University of Colorado and developed a love for beer and home brewing through Boulder's booming craft beer scene. After college, he moved to Aspen where he's worked in hospitality for almost a decade.

David Miles

Executive Chef

Chef David Miles grew up on the Central Coast of California. He attended college in Santa Barbara where he studied the culinary arts, pastry, and viticulture. Following culinary school, David worked as a chef in California, Maryland, Arizona, Washington, and Virginia. He now lives in the aspen area with his wife and son. David prides himself on excellence in flavor and food quality, and enjoys experimenting with different regional cuisines.

BEER IN ASPEN

It’s no coincidence that HOPS is in our name. We love great beer, and are delighted to be Aspen’s favorite place for craft beer. Colorado is the leading state for craft breweries, and we’re fortunate to work directly with so many of these great brewers. We don’t stop there – we seek out incredible beer from all over the world and serve it properly for you to enjoy – in Aspen!
